Types of Metal Detected: Responds equally well to all types of metal, steel, stainless steel, zinc, magnesium, and aluminum. Locates, nails, screws, staples, tacks, bulletts, wire and other small metal objects that can destroy or damage planer, jointer and saw blades.

Alarm Indicators: Piezo tone beeper and LED RED light indicator are used to indicate the presence of metal.
Sensitivity: At maximum setting the unit will detect a 3/8" x 3" solid metal object at 6", a large deck screw 4", a medium nail at 2 1/2", a panaling nail 2", wood staple at 1 1/4". The detectors' sensitivity is fully adjustable.
